At a very young age, I became enthralled by my mother’s lyrical voice reading poetry to me and my sister. My elementary teachers taught me to love words, and then my high school English teacher taught me to love writers and the worlds they created. I wrote my first story at age twelve and have devoted my life to teaching others to appreciate words and their meaning. I love words, and I love the Word.
